Life has changed beautiful

My name is Renuka.Im residing with my husband in Ennore. I was married at the age of 20. However my husband Shankar age is 51 who is rich owning rice mill,bungla,acres of land. I don't like to marry him but I was forced by my parents and relatives. Only after our marriage,I got to know him. He is very strict and treated me like a slave. I was instructed to wear only saree.I should always apply turmeric in my face and should keep big bindhi,tie and plait my hair nicely without letting free hair. Also I should wear anklets,bangle and toe ring.Without his knowledge I shouldn't remove them.He used to say all this is our tradition and I should follow this as a married women.He has very huge beliefs in god and astrology so I was made to do prayers daily. Since his parents died at his young age he was staying alone looking after business and multiplied his earnings. Only female maids were allowed to enter our house.He restricted all male below 30 years. He used to beat me up when he found me talking with young aged boys.

It was 6 months over since we were married but I didn't get pregnant. He was trying hard but couldn't make me bear child. Since he is aged much he become impotent to make me conceive. He used to drink and beat me like a beast whenever he thinks of his infertility. Days passed on,I couldn't give him any good news.
One fine day it was around 4pm,he came up with a mid aged men. He asked me to get ready so I went in and got ready. He came in and decorated my hair with flowers he bought. In low tone,I asked him who is that person. He gave a smile and said it was a Goldsmith who is here to do nose piercing for me.He also added I will be getting pierced with his mother nose pins. He went to almar and took a jewel box and went out.
After few minutes hearing his call I went out. I don't know what to react. I could see that man having two big size nose pins. I saw my husband,he told I would be getting both sides nose pierced. I cried and said big no. He strictly said I should get it done as wearing double side mokkuthies will promote our physical relationship. But I didn't hear him and was crying. He asked me to sit before Achari but

I didn't. So without choice he dragged me but I didn't co-operate so he got angry and gave me a slap. He warned me saying if I didn't get my nose pierced he might send me back to my dad's house. Achari too consoled me to get it done as it's my husband wish. He asked the Achari to make all arrangements for the piercing. He pushed me down and made me sit. I cried and begged him but no use. He had no mercy for me. He was very stubborn to get it done on me. Achari took a pen and marked my nose. He asked me not to shake. My husband asked him to do the piercing slowly. My husband holded my head, Achari approached me with the nose pin which had the needle like tool underneath. I could see the needle was sharpened to drill my nose. He positioned the needle on the marked spot. With his full force he pierced me and decorated mookuthi on my nose.My nose was flipped back to thread the back screw. I was crying but they didn't leave me until they finished their job. Same procedure followed for left side too. Now I have nose pins shinning both sides.I could see my husband is so happy to see me. He paid back the Achari and he left. I was sitting on the sofa and crying. He came up and consoled me but I didn't speak to him. He said he loves me a lot and doesn't want to loose me to any one at any condition.
I couldn't understand what is in his mind. I asked him what he is trying to say. He said he believes me but not my age. I came to know he is fearing that I would go with any other men. I wiped my tears and promised him that I won't leave him at any condition. I said I can accept any thing he wants to do on me. Next day morning we went to temple, everyone questioned me about the piercing I said it's done as a parigaram as suggested by our family astrologer for baby. We went to doctor for my infertility and we both were checked and my husband was given medication. Days passed on and 4 months later I got conceived. He was overjoyed and asked me remove my nose pins but I said I ll sport it as only after getting this he understood me and my life has become beautiful.
