Forced Piercing

I grew up in Britain and I am a regular white girl, my husband is from Bangladesh.
The only piercings I had was one in each ear and I never thought about any.
After a few years I was made redundant and my Husband suggested that we go away to Bangladesh for a couple of months to meet his extended family.
Once there he says I must wear the traditional clothing and his sister helps me even though she speaks no English we muddle through, then within a week I had lost all my clothes and was wearing traditional sari's.
His sister kept looking at me and kept tapping her nose and smiling.
When I ask my husband what she is suggesting he says she thinks I should have my nose pierced as its a family tradition.
I refuse as I have a small nose but he says I must and they are arranging the person to do and my mother in law had already got the mukuthis.
I was taken to a shopping mall into a jewellers and introduced to the man who was doing it, I didn't like him at all. my Husband and sister tried to hole me down but I struggled and it made it impossible to do.
Even though they were angry at me I managed to stop it and I thought they got the message, how wrong I was.

The next day they were all still mad at me while we had lunch then I started feeling sleepy. My husband said I had been given something to stop me fighting.
The the piercer from the Mall came in and I had my hands tied behind my backhand my Sister In Law held my head so I couldn't move.
They took out this long needle and pierced my nose which was excruciatingly painful, then the mukuthi was screwed in from the rear and they told me a wax was being applied so I can't take it out.
I saw myself and there was this one huge mukuthi In my nose and I ask to go, my husband shakes his head and says "not yet I have to have punishment for my refusal, then this man brings out another needle and marks the other side of my nose.
before I know it I have two very large mukuthis in my nose and theres nothing I can do about it.
As the weeks drift by my husband can't understand why im driving away from him, he just doesn't realise im not happy with the way I look.
After dinner one nigh I feel really tired and fall asleep, when I wake the next morning I have a large ring in my septum, he

says it is to make me feel more obedient to him
over the weeks Im getting more and more distant for obvious reasons when im pierced again this time my tongue is pierced and a heavy chain is taken from there to my left nose mukuthi.
Over weeks I have my ears pierced multiple times, they seem to think it will make me more loyal and obedient where as its made me hate them more and more.
The next major piercings Im given is my cheeks which feel really horrible, eating is restricted due to these and the chain from my tongue.
Then the worst part of this all, the village elders decided my hands must be tattooed, by this time they think I am possessed and I have to have prayers tattooed on my hands.
I am also given anklets with bells on and a large metal collar, all of these are permanently attached
After this I realise we only have 5 weeks of this hell left so I play along with their little games and pretend to be loyal and loving and they think they have driven the devil out of me.
Eventually we head to the airport, I have to go in my traditional clothes, I dont know what happened to what I brought with me .
I know that as soon as I get home I will be treated as a slave in my own home so when we get back to the UK I am handed my passport to get back through immigration so I tell the man behind the desk that I need to see the police and I am escorted away, he thinks I am being treated as a smuggler so he waits outside.
Eventually the police ask him in and ask questions and he admits what he done and then he is arrested and taken away.
After giving statements and being photographed I was taken to a medical facility where all the piercings were removed, they healed pretty well leaving minor scarring but the tattoos are a different matter, Im having them laser removed.

When we got to court not only was he charged with previous Bodily Harm they also charged hum with slavery as everything was done to keep me in my place to serve him.

I was also made attorney for his affairs and gave permission for an early divorce, so I transferred his fast cars and assets into my sisters name then sold the company for a pittance of which he was entitled to 50% of.

The last time I ever saw him was in the court looking real pathetic where he was given a 5 year in prison
