I just got my nose peirced yesterday and it didn't hurt at all! The guy who did mine used a needle that had the peircing attaced to it. I was nervous about the whole pain thing, but it was over and done before I could say "That didn't hurt to bad!" For me the pain levle when he put it in was a 5 and after about a 3 for a couple hours. Not to bad! I love it!

Everybody has a difference tolerance foe pain. I've had my monroe, navel, and ears. None of them hurt as bad as my nose. I would have to say a 10. Maybe because my nose has thick cartilage.

I'm absolutely terrified of needles and have a very low pain tolerance. I turn completely white when I get shots. I got my nose pierced recently, and I would say that I expected the pain to be a 10 but I would rate it at about a 4 in the end. I had it done with a needle. The needle isn't even what hurts; it's when they put the stud in.

I just came back from getting mine done. The actual procedure only took 5 seconds, start to finish. I would say the piercing was a 3, putting the jewelry through was a 5, then for about an hour after, a 4. Beyond that, if I don't touch it I can't feel it at all anymore.

On a scale of 1 to 10 it's about a 4 or 5; and that's if you have a low pain tolerance.

Each person has her own ability or inability to tolerate pain. also it depends on which piercing method. Gun or needle. Gun quick but will damage you tissue as piercing gun is not design for nose piercing. With a piercing needle: With a needle piercing, your piercing professional places a small cork inside your nostril. The needle will be very sharp and very slender, and it will go through your flesh and into the cork with so much speed, it will be over before you know it.
