Do I take out my nose piercing before a shower?

I have my nose pierced, it has been over 2 months and my question is should I take out my nose piercing before a shower, because when I leave it in when I shower soap sometimes gets in the piercing and causes the surrounding area to become red and irritated from the soap that's in there, then I have to take out my piercing and rinse the piercing of the soap that's in there and it usually takes a few days for the redness to go away, so any suggestions on this will be appreciated.
