Yanking out problems nose ring

Got my nose piercing 3 weeks ago. Got a tiny stud, stainless. Accidentally pulled through my nose once and yank out 3 times. It also was on my pillow on waking one morning. Today it started bleeding. And the hole now looks large. Should I return and get a bigger stud? Will this heal? I wanted to wear a nose ring? Will the large hole reduce itself so I can wear a ring in it?
