swimming in the ocean and river while your piercing is still healing

i was just wondering, is it alright to go swimming/ in the ocean and river while your piercing is still healing? because i want to get the piercing before the cold season, but ill have to get it soon, and i want to go in the ocean and other waters these summer holidays. will it get infected or be bad for it? thanks heaps, sari. |
