Septum piercing through cartilage? is it ok?

i went to go get my septum pierced, before hand i had known that it is suppose to be nearly close to painless and on the soft tissue part, im more then sure it went through my cartilage, i heard it brake through about four times. is it okay, to have it through my cartilage?

MY MIL FORCED TO PIERCE MY NOSE NEW

My wife nose was not pierced i tried to pierce but she refused from that day i started collecting photos of many actress with nose stud from many magazine one day when i was not in my home my mil came to see her daughter they cleaned my shelf during that time they found my photo collection in that one photo of mine with fake nose stud in my nose this all made them to play with me i came back little late and slept in my room during my sleep my wife and my mil tied my legs and hands so i got up but its impossible i shouted at them but no use they showed my collection i felt shy and closed my eyes and avoided to see my mil my wife sat in front of me and my mil pierced my wife nose in front of me this made me more jolly mood and i said 1000 times thanks to them this made them tears in their eyes and my mil said to my wife to pierce my nose but my wife refused suddenly my mil came near me tried to pierce i said dont want but she forced me to show my nose with the help of my wife she pierced my nose and placed a red stone stud and showed me in the mirror it looks more sexy on me again i said 1000 times thanks then my wife said she also wants to pierce other side of my nose i said ok then she pierced one more side since then my nose studs never removed we shifted our house to a remote unknown place there i got lot of woman fans uam enjoying my nose piercing

It isn't fatally harmful to have a septum piercing go through cartilage. Keep in mind that it could take years to heal and you will most likely never be able to wear jewelry larger than what it was pierced with. You also won't be able to flip up and hide the jewelry comfortably. I would recommend registering a complaint with the shop owner and stating your dissatisfaction with the lack of care and quality associated with your now unnecessarily complicated piercing.
