Re-piercing my nose

by Eljay
(South Yorkshire)

About 9 months ago I got my nose pierced, but i developed a small reddish bump next to the piercing 2 weeks after I got it done, even though I was cleaning it 2-3 times a day with salt water. I put compresses on the bump but it showed no signs of disappearing. I got worried that the bump wouldn't ever leave, so I took my stud out. Now I really want to get my nose pierced again, but am scared the same thing will happen. Is it advisable to get it re-pierced?

I think your only problem was that you had an allergic reaction to the piercing. Try a higher karat gold piercing, and your next piercing should turn out fine :)
