Red (possible irritated skin) around my nose piercing!

Okay, well I got my nose pierced like 5 and a half monthhs ago, and I have noticed that it's red around the area a lot, and when I see someone else's nose piercing, it looks fine to me! Mine isn't normal..so what helps get rid of that redness around my piercing?
