Your parents are right, I waited until I was 19. A twelve year old should not have it done.It is hard to find a job with facial piercings and your still a baby. It is very unnecessary, just wait.

Wait until you are old enough to get it done without parental permission and if you still want it then, then by all means get it done. You shouldn't just rush into it just now. You'll most likely have changed you're mind. You're much too young any way.

Smartest thing to do would be to wait a few years and ask again because if you are under the age of 18 you need gaurdian permission (in other words a grown-up must be with you at the time of the piercing). Or if you're a little daring find another relative to go with you to get it done. Then you have to hide the piercing...good luck with that though.
