Hi, I would like to offer a correction for the information the septum piercing page, linked below. In the section where you discuss the optimal needle gauge, you mention that piercing starts at 14-16mm and a larger number means a smaller gauge. This is true when using gauge sizes such as 14g or 16g, but if you are talking about mm, then it's the opposite. 16ga is 1.3mm, 14g is 1.6 mm, and 8g is 3.26mm. Hope that helps!
