My nose stud doesn't have a hook

I just got my nose pierced less than a week ago and today, while soaking it in salt water, it came out completely! i managed to get it back in but because there's no hook/ 'L' shape / backing what-so-ever I'm afraid this will happen often. Should I replace the ring with something that won't fall out as easily or keep this in and hope it doesn't happen again?
