I can't put a back on my nose piercing?

Hi, I recently got a stud piercing, and it keeps falling out! I have had to stab it back through a couple times (ouch) and it falls out because I don't have a back for it.But I can't put a back on it! I've tried so many times, with my fingers, with tweezers, for the life of me I just cannot put a back on my piercing. Please don't tell me to go to a profesional body piercer, because I can't..for reasons I can't say. Help?
