are doctors allowed to were a nose pin??

i am a medical student.... Since i am from india.. As a part of a cultural tradition i got my nose pierced at a very young age... Now i am worried will it affect my chances of getting a job in a good american hospital?? Will my patients not rely on me because of this??? Wt shud i do..??
